由于病毒血症，病毒或免疫复合物沉积在皮肤真皮表浅血管，使真皮充血水肿，血管内皮细胞肿胀、增生，与单核细胞浸润，并渗出产生麻疹皮疹、粘膜疹，因此：
（1）在出疹及退疹时患者皮肤搔痒，应做到盖被轻软，衣着宽松，勤换内衣，忌紧衣厚袄“捂汗发疹”。
（2）出疹期应保持皮肤温度，潮湿或微汗为宜。
（3）对皮肤均热无汗、高热及皮疹迟迟不退者，应进行温水擦浴。
（4）应修剪指甲，防止抓伤皮肤，搔痒时可用掌面抚摩皮肤，减轻搔痒不适。
