结核性脑膜炎是由于结核菌随血液侵入脑膜或蛛网膜下腔而引起的脑实质性病变。如抢救不及时，常可及时生命，在治疗过程中，护理是至关重要的。
1、结核病人早期应绝对卧床休息，宜取头高脚低位以减低脑压，环境宜安静，避免一切不良刺激，如剧烈咳嗽或用力排便都可导致脑压增高而危及生命。
2、要保持大小便通畅，预防呼吸道感染。
3、饮食给予高蛋白、高糖、低脂、含维生素丰富易消化的食物。
4、持续高热导致缺氧而发生意识障碍及呼吸循环衰竭、脑水肿等变化，故应给予氧疗法并及时对症处理如头部冷敷或放置冰袋、酒精擦浴等，必要时补充水分，但须严格控制液体量及补充速度。
5、头痛、烦躁时可适当给镇痛剂，并有效、合理的使用脱水剂。呕吐时头偏向一侧，避免呕吐物呛入气管造成窒息。昏迷病人应安置床栏，防止坠床，并定时翻身，做好口腔及皮肤护理。
结脑全程治疗需一年半至两年，只有全程化疗才可治愈，防止复发。因此，一定要坚持服用抗结核药物，遵照医嘱，按期复查，院外注意休息，避免重体力劳动，加强营养，戒烟酒，防止受凉感冒，生活规律化，保持愉快情绪，使疾病彻底治愈。
