1、按呼吸道隔离进行护理，严格做好痰液和痰杯的消毒工作。
2、全身毒性症状较重者，应卧床休息，以半卧位为宜。保持病室安静，空气新鲜，湿温度适宜，注意定时通风换气与紫外线消毒，防止灰尘及烟雾刺激。
3、注意患者咳嗽、咯血情况，并详细记录，如出现大量咯血，就立即报告医生进行处理，防止失血性休克。
4、呼吸困难、胸痛患者取半卧位，给予持续吸氧。如突然出现剧烈胸痛、胸闷、气急、烦躁、挣扎坐起、发绀时，应立即请医生诊治。
5、注意心情舒畅，在病情允许的情况下适当开展户外活动，如散步、做呼吸操、打太极拳、练气功。并注意劳逸结合，生活规律。
6、饮食宜多选用有滋阴养肺作用的食物，如百合、莲子、新鲜蔬菜等。忌食辛辣、烟酒、温燥动火之品。
7、密切注意体温变化，尤须留意午后有无潮热及体温上升现。
