如何践行党的群众路线，针对医院当前工作状况，怎么看？怎么办？8月12日上午，医院领导班子成员开展集体谈心活动。谈心会上，熊悦安院长指出：要正确认识当前医院的工作形势，一是高温情况下，职工上班、吃饭、休息条件比较差；二是业务发展不强，技术水平没有提升；三是干部执行力不够，许多工作没有很好的落实；四是下半年工作启动不好，不要盲目盯经济收入。怎么办？医院提高了夜班费，发放了高温补贴，院领导班子成员慰问了高温下工作的职工。
对下步工作方向，熊院长提出了三点要求：一是凝神聚力；二是责任到人；三是突出重点。要提升重点专科能力，利用与北京、上海技术合作的优势，开展新业务、新技术，提升业务能力和技术水平，建立科学完善的质量管理体系，充分发挥医院十个质量管理委员会的作用。同时要提高经济效益品质，由总会计师牵头，院经管小组分析调研医院经济工作，在增收节支上下功夫，拿出医院经济健康发展、可持续发展方案。
与会领导一致表示谈心很及时，医院经济发展快，但不均衡，增长过程中有些问题，要修正。要提升新业务、新技术的含金量，控制过度检查、药品比例，确保总收入、提高含金量、控制总成本。
